Tony Romo Shakes Loser Moniker in Comeback Fantasy Win

DALLAS – With his number one fan’s fantasy playoff hopes on life support, Tony Romo orchestrated an epic comeback victory for the “Romo’s Rib’s” Fantasy Football team. Down 108- 75 with just Romo left, Romo’s Rib team owner, Jeff, was needing a “miracle.”

“There’s no way in hell I’m coming back from this, f*#$%*$ Rob Gronkowski man. Brady’s got 6 f%$#@#$ receivers to throw to and all he can do is throw to that ass clown every play. I hate f$%^&#$% fantasy football, I don’t know why I play” said Jeff, before the Dallas game kicked off.

Coming into the game, Romo had been derided for his play in December and about his losing record in the month. “Mr. November” as he has come to be known, always seemed to wilt under the playoff pressures, with poor play and missed opportunities. “I’ve never bought into all that” Romo said. “Each game is as important as any other in a 16 game schedule, I think my winning record speaks for themselves”

Midway through the third, when Romo hooked up with Miles Austin for a long score, Jeff lamented, “That would have been the game winner for me, if that f%$#%^ no talent hype machine Jermichael Finley had done ANYTHING today. God he sucks. Your team scores over 40 points and you get zero? Do they even let you celebrate in the locker room? Cocktease player.” The score brought Jeff to within 10 points of his opponent with a quarter to play.

In the past, crunchtime moments such as this one, have appeared to be too much for Romo to overcome. After getting the ball back with five minutes to go in the game, a calm Romo delivered the win with a 50 yard TD pass to Dez Bryant, giving “Romo’s Ribs” a 3 point advantage. “They were in press coverage, Dez was able to get a clean break off the line, and from there it was easy pickings” said Romo. The score was his fourth TD of the day, and he was well over 300 yards, giving Jeff’s team more than the 33 he needed to pull out the victory.

The win thrusted Jeff into the second round of the Playing to sleep with Tim’s Mom league. An elated Jeff opined, “Tony was huge tonight, huge. Man he’s so money, and people say he sucks, I don’t buy it. That guy is fantasy gold. So much better than that Jermichael Finley. I’m still pissed.”

“I’m glad I could deliver the win for him” Romo said. “These wins are hard to come by, a lot of work and preparation goes into these games. I’m just glad I could do my part and advance Jeff in the playoffs.”

Dallas lost the actual game to the New York Giants 37-34 after Romo failed to hit Austin on what would have been a back breaking score with 3 minutes to play.
